Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNO): Mawlid-e-Masood (SAW) was celebrated with religious fervour and devotion at Ziyarat Qutb Alam Hazrat Bahauddin Ganj Baksh (RA) in Qutubdinpora, Nowhatta, Srinagar, with devotees gathering to mark the auspicious occasion.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said Mawlid-e-Masood SAW, was celebrated with religious fervour, devotion and enthusiasm at Ziyarat Qutb Alam Hazrat Bahauddin Ganj Baksh (RA), Qutubdinpora, Nowhatta, Srinagar.
He said on the auspicious occasion, the Valley’s renowned Maulood Khwan and religious preacher, Janab Al-Haj Syed Mohammad Ashraf Kamli, recited the Maulood, filling the spiritual gathering with devotion and reverence for Prophet Muhammad SAW.
“The gathering reflected the deep-rooted religious and spiritual traditions of Kashmir, with devotees coming together to mark the blessed occasion and pay their respects.”
The spokesperson said on the occasion, President of the Ziyarat’s management, Al-Haj Pirzada Mohammad Syed Makhdoomi, and General Secretary Al-Haj Farooq Ahmad Gani, expressed their gratitude to the Power Development Department, the Water Department and Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) for their cooperation and support in making the arrangements.
He said the management also extended heartfelt thanks to the local people and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the religious programme. They appreciated the collective efforts, cooperation and dedication of everyone involved in making the occasion a memorable and spiritually uplifting gathering.
